LCSB Agency Launches Charity Drive to Assist Critically Disabled Los Angeles Woman in Need of Service Dog
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) August 24, 2015 -- LCSB Agency, a locally owned insurance firm that serves Los Angeles and the surrounding communities, is announcing a charity drive to assist a young local woman struggling with several debilitating disabilities.
Ashley is a 20-year-old young local woman who has battled tragic illness her whole life. With an original diagnosis of Lupus, Ashley also struggles with severe mobility issues, and was bedridden when she was 12 years old until she turned 16.
Ashley attempted to attend college and earn a degree, but the problems associated with her condition proved to debilitating for her to continue. With the help of a specially trained service dog, Ashley would enjoy much more freedom and independence, and could try to return to school and complete her education.
“Ashley is one of the most courageous young women I’ve ever met, and we’re doing everything we can to ensure she gets all the opportunities that most of us take for granted,” explains Robert Feldman, owner and manager of LCSB Agency. “With the help of like-minded community members we’re going to give Ashley a second chance at her dream of completing school.”
The LCSB Agency team is actively reaching out to business associates, clients, and friends alike in an effort to share Ashley’s story and raise funds that will be used to purchase her service dog. An online social media site is already being constructed in the hopes of finding supporters throughout southern California and beyond.
As well as assisting Ashley in her battle for independence, LCSB Agency works closely with a number of other local charities throughout the Los Angeles area. As part of an ongoing charity campaign, the LCSB Insurance team plans to assist a new worthwhile charity every 30-60 days going forward.
