Young Asset Protection and Children’s Charity Variety of Pittsburgh Team Up for Charity Event to Benefit Disabled Children
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) April 21, 2017 -- Young Asset Protection, an insurance provider and financial consultation firm in Allegheny County that offers services to communities throughout the greater Pittsburgh metropolitan region, is joining forces with the local chapter of the Variety organization in a charity drive to provide adaptive bicycles for differently-abled children.
Variety the Children’s Charity is a national organization dedicated to empowering, enabling, and improving outcomes for disabled children of all backgrounds. Variety of Pittsburgh hosts the “My Bike” program to provide special needs children with specially constructed bicycles, giving them the freedom and enjoyment of riding alongside friends and family.
“In working with Variety on the “My Bike” project, we are able to help ensure that all children of all ability levels in our community can experience one of the simplest and most important joys of childhood,” says Megan Young, owner and executive manager of Young Asset Protection.
In an effort to gather regional support for the Variety My Bike program, Young and her team have built a strong following among local community organizers, families, and business leaders over email and social media platforms. Further publicity for the event is anticipated from the upcoming release of a full length story on the Variety charity event soon to be published in the Young Asset Protection digital magazine “Our Hometown”: http://www.youngassetprotection.com/Our-Hometown-Magazine_39.
Over the last year and a half, Young and her team have supported almost a dozen charitable causes and nonprofits that provide services to the Pittsburgh area. Young Asset Protection is a member agency of the “Agents of Change” nationwide charity support group, and the team plans to support a new regional charity quarterly.
