Lawrence, Lonon & Rudasill Expands its Legal Team with Two New Attorneys
Spartanburg, SC (PRWEB) July 26, 2013 -- The newly merged Lawrence, Lonon & Rudasill Law and Mediation Center is pleased to announce that attorneys Wendy Griffith and Jennifer Olmert have joined Jack Lawrence and Josh Lonon in the firm's practice.
Mrs. Griffith’s practice areas are focused on family law, real estate, and civil litigation. Before joining the firm, she practiced law in Virginia Beach, Virginia focusing on a wide range of family law issues. Mrs. Griffith handled a variety of matters including child support, child custody, alimony, property division, and divorce.
As a native of South Carolina, Wendy returned to the state after marrying her husband, a local business owner. She attended Regent University School of Law where she excelled in many areas including negotiations practice. Mrs. Griffith was selected to represent her law school in several prestigious negotiations competitions. Prior to law school, she attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and completed her studies at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia where she graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in Public Law.
Mrs. Griffith is currently licensed to practice law in South Carolina and Virginia. She is a member of the South Carolina State Bar, Virginia State Bar, South Carolina Women Lawyer’s Association, and the Greenville County Bar where she serves as the Young Lawyer Committee Chair.
Mrs. Olmert has joined the firm as of counsel handling real estate transactions. Before joining the firm, she spent two years as a law clerk to South Carolina Supreme Court Justice John W. Kittredge, then an associate judge for the South Carolina Court of Appeals. Prior to that, she worked as a staff attorney for the South Carolina Supreme Court.
She received her Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law and her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Wofford College. Mrs. Olmert resides in Greer with her husband, Travis, and their three children, Alex, Cate and Smith. She currently serves on the Chandler Creek Elementary School Improvement Council and volunteers with the Greater Greer Education Foundation.
"We are delighted that Wendy and Jennifer have joined our firm," said Josh Lonon, attorney and member of Lawrence, Lonon & Rudasill. "They bring a wealth of skills and experience that will benefit our clients and allow us to better serve them."
