Dawn M. Echols, M.S., LPC of Dawning Phoenix Collaborates With Kelley Linn of Transitions Resource to Develop Specialty Therapeutic Tools for Divorce Support

Dawn M. Echols, M.S., LPC, & Executive Director of Dawning Phoenix, LLC – a counseling & conflict resolution practice, has teamed up with founder Kelley Linn of Transitions Resource, a Divorce Consumer Advocacy dedicated to reducing the wounding and enhancing the healing of divorce, in developing therapeutic tools for therapists and clients aimed at educating and empowering individuals in the difficult process of divorce.

Dawning Phoenix offers a divorce support (http://dawningphoenix.com) recovery group (for those who have completed the divorce process) using a pilot program jointly developed with Transitions Resource, as well as a divorce support process group (an open group facilitated by a trained therapist for individuals currently in the process of a divorce or termination of a long-term relationship). Scheduled for release is a divorce specialization curriculum for therapists, a collaborative effort of several professionals, including Dawn M. Echols, M.S., LPC & Registered Mediator, which assists therapists in providing additional interventions for their clients who are either contemplating divorce, in the process of a divorce, or rebuilding their lives from a recently-completed divorce.

Dawning Phoenix has a staff of 3 counselors in 2 locations, with a part-time office at Nature’s Way in Dawsonville, in addition to the main office at United Osteoporosis Center in Gainesville. Dawn Echols has practiced counseling for over 8 years, and is the owner of Dawning Phoenix, which she established in 2012.

Dawning Phoenix has a growing specialty in divorce, which extends to those in long-term partnerships. By increasing skills, counselors at Dawning Phoenix hope to help others in improving the quality of their lives.
