DMV.us.org Adding Federal Database Records to Their Public Document Reports to Help Customers Avoid Rip Offs
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) December 20, 2013 -- DMV.us.org is adding information from federal driving databases to their public document reports in order to increase accuracy and save people from ripoff opportunities, the company announced yesterday.
“This is a way of making sure that companies don't get ripped off thinking they are hiring a safe driver when, in reality, they are hiring someone who is dangerous behind the wheel,” a DMV.us.org spokesman said. “There are ways that people can act as ripoff artists by pretending to have a valid license when they do not. The federal database can help stop that.”
The reason DMV.us.org wants to include the federal database is that police and DMV officials are required to immediately notify federal officials whenever someone's license is suspended or revoked.
“They always add the information to the federal database immediately, but sometimes can take weeks to add it to their own database,” he said. “This gives rip off artists time to go to another state and get a new license before the DMV uploads their data. But it will already be in the federal database, making it impossible for them to pull this kind of rip off if we provide our customers with this information.”
The federal database records will be fully uploaded to DMV.us.org by the end of the year, he said.
“This is going to make it far less likely that our customers get ripped off,” he said.
