Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) May 16, 2014 -- DMV.us.org is about to launch a comprehensive guide to help people learn safe summer driving techniques, the company said yesterday.
“People tend to think of winter as the most dangerous driving season, but honestly each season presents its own set of unique challenges,” a DMV.us.org spokesman said. “With the summer holiday season right around the corner, we decided that it was time for us to address ways that people can stay safe behind the wheel at this time of year.”
The DMV.us.org summer driving guide will be released on the members' area of the site, sent out through their social media channels, and published on their blog, he said.
“The goal is to create as safe a driving environment as possible,” he said. “People aren't taught seasonal driving techniques when they get their license, so we feel that this type of a report will have real value in the community.”
The guide was put together with the help of law enforcement and driving experts, he said.
“We want it to be the most helpful guide we can,” he said. “If it prevents even a single accident, we'll feel good about what we've done. It has always been our desire to do whatever we can to help the community.”
The guide will be in the form of a series of articles, each addressing a different summer driving technique, he said.
