Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) March 25, 2014 -- DMV.us.org is about to launch a guide to help teen drivers stay safe on the road, the company announced yesterday.
“Young drivers account for many of the accidents that claim life and limb,” a DMV.us.org spokesman said. “Part of that is because of inexperience, part of that is being reckless, and it's also partly because they have never been taught about what specific behaviors can keep them safer behind the wheel. We want them to grow up to become safe adult drivers, so we feel now is the time to start giving them real, practical advice on safe driving.”
The articles in the DMV.us.org guide will all be targeted specifically to teens and the challenges they face while driving, he said.
“So much of the advice out there is targeted to adult drivers,” he said. “But teens face their own unique challenges while trying to drive safely. We believe that by talking about their specific issues, we can help get their attention and make our roads safer.”
The guide will be available in the members area of the DMV.us.org site, and also released through their social media outlets and blog, he said.
“Getting the word out about safe teen driving is very important to us,” he said. “We want to help create the great drivers of tomorrow. Parents may try and help teach their children safe driving habits, but they don't realize that the challenges they faced 20 or 30 years ago are different than the ones teens face today.”
