Young Asset Protection joins Allstate Foundation Purple Purse Campaign, Launches Charity Drive to Benefit Domestic Violence Survivors
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) October 19, 2015 -- Young Asset Protection, a family owned insurance firm that serves Pittsburg and the surrounding communities, has joined up with the Allstate Foundation Purple Purse campaign and is launching a charity effort to raise funds for survivors of domestic violence and abuse.
The Allstate Foundation Purple Purse campaign is a community education and donation gathering effort that aims to create safety and security over the long term for domestic abuse survivors via financial enablement. The foundation offers support to hundreds of organizations at both the local and national level, and helps survivors free themselves from violence, allowing them to pursue a brighter future for themselves, their children, and their families.
“One in four women must deal with domestic violence at some point, and the AFPP is a crucial stopgap that gives abuse survivors the ability to move forward,” says Megan Young, owner and manager of Young Asset Protection. “Providing assistance for those who have lived through domestic abuse or violence is something everyone in the Pittsburg community can and should support.”
Utilizing an extensive list of personal and professional contacts, Young and her team are reaching out to clients, business leaders, and likeminded community members in an effort to advocate for an end to domestic violence and to raise funds that will be used to support the Allstate Foundation Purple Purse campaign. The team is also constructing an online portal via social media in the hopes of finding support throughout the state and beyond.
In addition to assisting the Allstate Foundation Purple Purse in their fight to empower victims of domestic violence and abuse, the Young Asset Protection team is working with several other local charities, and plans to work with another charity every two months as part of an ongoing community involvement program.
