Egberts Insurance Agency and the Camden County Women's Center Announce Joint Charity Drive to Combat Domestic Violence
Camden, NJ (PRWEB) October 08, 2015 -- Egberts Insurance Agency, a locally owned insurance firm with offices that serve central and southern New Jersey, is launching a joint charity drive with the Camden County Women's Center in an effort to provide critical support for victims of domestic violence.
Camden County reports the highest domestic violence rates in the state, including the highest number of reported domestic violence offenses and the highest number of domestic violence arrests. Tragically, most local programs suffer a critical shortage in the funds and staff needed to assist victims of domestic abuse. These funds are crucial for providing transportation, childcare, language translation, mental health care, substance abuse counseling, and legal representation for victims in the area.
“Domestic violence is a looming danger to many families in our area, and we’re calling on all our fellow community members to join us in providing assistance to those families,” says Pat Egberts, owner and manager of Egberts Insurance Agency. “Ensuring that the Camden County Women's Center is fully funded going forward will help countless families as they begin to heal and recover from incidents of domestic violence.”
