'Short stories appeal to many,' says Bambrick. Meant for escapism, indulgence and some light hearted fun, his '5 Short Stories' shares his interesting take on a number of ideas that he hopes would help stir his readers’ imaginations.

“I am mad,” says Don Bambrick. “My mind wanders, and my stories follow along.”
Inspired by an article about e-books, Bambrick decided to write his own book. He taps into his "madness" — his alternative and unique perspective — to pen “5 Short Stories” (published by Xlibris AU), which shares a small collection of his short stories tackling a wide range of themes. He looks into the subject of life after death in “Charlie, Living Twice.” He then moves to financial intrigue in “Dirty Money.” “Lachlan Campbell” tells a love story drawing heavily on mythic themes. “Abducted” is a comedic, science fiction story presenting his wacky spin to the idea of alien abductions. He again tells a romantic tale in “Old Ralph,” which is a historic tale set against puritan Britain in the time of Charles I.
