New Book Gives Insightful Commentary on Politics, Religion
LUFKIN, Texas (PRWEB) September 18, 2015 -- Don Erdek marks his debut in the publishing world with the release of his first book, “Inner Sanctum” (published by Xlibris). This new work is a thought-provoking exploration and commentary on some of the most pressing issues of today including politics and religion.
Erdek wrote his debut publication to commemorate a milestone in his life: turning 80 years old. It is his way of expressing gratitude for having lived a long, storied life. “Inner Sanctum” is an insightful book grounded on the issue of ethics and morals. It appeals to the conservative issues of government. It proposes a political platform based heavily on the U.S. Constitution. It calls for a society based on the strong words of the Preamble namely, life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. The religious majority in America will be uneasy with the heavy stress on the evolution.
An excerpt from the book reads:
"Are we not all thinkers?
At least we should be.
Some more than others, yet some not at all.
Those who care not to think, act accordingly and heedlessly."
“Inner Sanctum” aims to provide an objective definition of life’s values which ultimately become a philosophy for humankind.
