Avid Collector Announces His Search For Original 1967 The Doors Eagle Auditorium Seattle Concert Posters
San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) September 23, 2014 -- Avid collector Andrew Hawley, from Vintage Rock Posters, announces his search for original 1967 The Doors Eagle Auditorium Seattle concert posters. The Doors were a smash hit after the release of their album “Break On Through” that year. The Seattle Eagles Auditorium concert was held on July 23.
According to Hawley, “The Doors would return to Eagles Auditorium in November the same year. The artist that created The Doors July poster is not known and comes in three colors. The poster is a split fountain silkscreen printed on thick cardboard. The December poster was created by Seattle concert poster artist John Moehring. Its design is very psychedelic. The Grateful Dead, Janis Joplin with Big Brother and the Holding Company and James Brown played the Eagle Auditorium in the 1960s.”
