DoublePositive Named to 2013 Inc. Magazine 500|5000 List of Fastest Growing Companies in America
Baltimore, MD (PRWEB) August 27, 2013 -- For the second time, DoublePositive—a performance-based online marketing company—ranked on Inc. magazine’s Inc. 500|5000 list of the nation’s fastest growing private companies.
DoublePositive, headquartered in Baltimore, MD, with a satellite office in Tempe AZ, accelerates demand generation and new customer acquisitions for highly visible brands (and their agencies) across market sectors. DoublePositive has shown steady growth in the highly competitive Advertising and Marketing category.
“We like to say ‘it’s all about the people,’” says Sean Fenlon, DoublePositive CEO. “We have observed that growth is the most essential element in maximizing the vitality of an organization and its people. It is rewarding to know that our growth is a direct result of our people helping our clients to grow by delivering them incremental net new customers via performance-based online marketing.”
“The Inc. 5000 was harder to get into this year than ever in its history,” Eric Schurenberg Editor in Chief of Inc. Magazine wrote in his congratulatory letter announcing DoublePositive’s inclusion. “The median company on the list increased sales more than 140 percent since the start of 2010, while the average honoree grew a mind-boggling 468 percent.”
The list represents the most comprehensive look at the most important segment of the economy—America’s independent entrepreneurs. DoublePositive joins LivingSocial, Edible Arrangements, CDW, and Lifelock, among other prominent brands featured on this year’s list.
With increasing pressure on advertisers and marketers to prove ROI of marketing investment, DoublePositive builds online marketing products that allow its clients to execute campaigns-—on the web and mobile web—that focus on demand generation, new customer acquisitions, and driving online actions.
Methodology
The 2013 Inc. 500|5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth when comparing 2009 to 2012. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2009. They had to be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies—as of December 31, 2012. (Since then, a number of companies on the list have gone public or been acquired.) The minimum revenue required for 2009 is $100,000; the minimum for 2012 is $2 million. As always, Inc. reserves the right to decline applicants for subjective reasons. Companies on the Inc. 500 are featured in Inc.’s September issue.
