Dr. Sabrina W. Robins announced as winner of the NCMSDC Advocate of the Year award for 2019 by The North Central Minority Supplier Development Council (NCMSDC)
Robins serves as a Director of Operations responsible for the operational delivery of ManpowerGroup accounts, focusing on the manufacturing of consumer product goods and government sectors.
APPLETON, Wis., Oct. 10, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Dr. Sabrina W. Robins has been announced as the winner of the 2019 NCMSDC Advocate of the Year, an award that is given to an individual who has continuously and consistently contributed to minority business development.
According to the North Central Minority Supplier Development Council, the Advocate of the Year should be visible in the business community and be a strong supporter of the NCMSDC. This person should actively seek to promote the NCMSDC mission of fostering minority business development while demonstrating outstanding and extraordinary efforts and an initiative to promote long-term success for minority businesses.
Robins applies these qualities and more which was evidenced when she was named one of the Top 28 Most Influential African Americans in Wisconsin. Robins serves on several boards at the local, regional, national, and international level and was one of 12 women honored in Wisconsin for her social justice work in the 2018 Women Against Hate / United by Love traveling art exhibition.
Never the one to tire with her efforts, Robins will be moderating a panel discussion at the upcoming Wisconsin Leadership Summit on the effectiveness of community and technical colleges with regard to preparing the next generation to become the workforce that the state needs.
