Drinking Water Depot Spearheads Educational Campaign About Alkaline Water
Winnetka, CA (PRWEB) October 03, 2016 -- October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which is an annual campaign to increase awareness of the cancer that is one of the most common among women in the United States. In honor of this, Julie Chaves, owner of Drinking Water Depot and a breast cancer survivor, during the month of October will be holding an open house (from noon to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday) at her store, 20119 Saticoy Street in Winnetka, CA, to educate the public on the numerous curative properties of alkaline water.
Advocates of alkaline water claim it can prevent illnesses caused by too much acid in the body. “Alkaline water, for example, is widely believed to rid free radicals from one’s body through the process of ionization,” said Chaves. “Alkaline water hydrates all your cells and joints, and as you become more alkaline, the water allows your body to heal itself.”
To further educate people on the benefits of alkaline water during the month of October, Drinking Water Depot will be showing a 20-minute video people can watch at the store. They will then be given five gallons of alkaline water to try at no cost (please bring your own containers, or containers can be purchased onsite).
