Portland, Oregon (PRWEB) January 15, 2016
According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, vehicle crashes on public roadways are the leading cause of work-related fatalities each year, accounting for more than 20 percent of all workplace fatalities. Auto accidents cost employers billions of dollars each year from medical care, legal expenses, property damage, and lost productivity.
Succeed has released a three-part series on Driver Safety training for non-commercial drivers. The three titles include Driver Preparedness, Distracted Driving, and Defensive Driving for Non-Commercial Drivers. The number of physical and environmental distractions and risks on the road makes driver safety training essential for employees who drive on behalf of an organization.
These interactive and scenario-based Driver Safety training courses include information on how to assess and improve driving habits and properly respond to adverse driving conditions and emergencies. These courses are designed to be the centerpieces of a comprehensive package of driver safety training materials available within the Succeed Risk Management Center®, including company-specific best practice policies, ride along and drive behind employee evaluations, toolbox safety talks, posters, and quizzes.
As with all Succeed training courses, this training can be assigned to employees via Training Track™, an application that is designed to automate all aspects of an employee training program. Training Track™ is one of the available applications in Succeed’s web-based Risk Management Center. The Risk Management Center also contains other OSHA-required programs, training materials, and integrated software solutions.
Succeed Management Solutions, LLC also writes a blog that contains safety tips, toolbox talks, training shorts, and more.
