No-Texting-While-Driving Bill Passes The Senate, Stisim Drive Suggests Driving Simulator Training to Help Keep Roads Safer
New York, NY (PRWEB) February 07, 2014 -- The bill that bans texting while behind the wheel has passed the Senate. In response to it, Stisim Drive expressed its support of the new law and suggested to drivers the driving simulator training as its help in keeping the roads safer.
Based on a post from clarionledger.com dated February 05, 2014, the bill classifies texting-while-driving as a reckless driving offense. It detailed that anyone convicted of it would be fined $5 to $50.
However, it was said in the report that some senators questioned how the bill would be implemented. Particularly, it shared that State Sen. Melanie Sojourner, R-Natchez, and State Sen. Chris McDaniel, R-Ellisville, asked what action or gesture would prompt an officer to stop a driver for violating the bill. But as it relayed, State Sen. Willie Simmons, D-Cleveland, stated that would be up to the judgment of the police officer.
Here is a part of the said report.
“The state Senate has passed a texting-while-driving bill that classifies the offense as careless driving.
But some senators questioned how the law would be enforced, and some said texting is already reckless driving.”
Stisim Drive stated that texting-while-behind-the-wheel is one of the most dangerous types of distracted driving. And because of that, it said that such a law is basically needed.
However, it cited that not all road accidents are caused by it or by distracted driving in general. It said that other factors as driving skills, weather and traffic conditions could also lead to untoward incidents.
Because of that, the company asserted that drivers must hone their skills that they are able to stay safe in whatever road condition. And to help them achieve that, it suggested the modern and safe driving simulation training.
Driving simulators eliminates the possibility of road accidents while on training, said Stisim Drive. Moreover, with it, drivers could train themselves in various road scenes, thereby, expanding their knowledge on safe driving.
However, of the many driving simulation systems available these days, Stisim Drive said that its own are the best. And as it reasoned out, that's because they are cost-effective.
As it explained, its driving simulators output reliable results. Besides training, it pointed out that it could also be used in rehabilitation and training. Additionally, it stated that its Stisim Driver software is loaded with all possible road scenes and is programmable to fit the user's need.
