Author Dr. N. Parajuli has worked closely with cancer patients as well as their caretakers, relatives and friends for more than 20 years. During this time he has watched cancer turn ever-happy patients into those without hope. Parajuli finally had enough, and decided he needed to help others prevent cancer altogether; he would write a book.
Parajuli’s efforts to spread awareness of cancer symptoms manifest in his new health book, “Do I Have Cancer?: Signs, Symptoms, Diagnoses, and Treatments of Fifty Common Cancers” (published by Balboa Press AU).
The internet is home to a plethora of information regarding cancer. Parajuli acknowledges this, but says it can be extremely difficult for a layman to choose the correct or relevant information. Furthermore, Parajuli says this process can be time consuming, sometimes resulting in a dead end.
In “Do I Have Cancer?”, Parajuli uses layman’s terms and language to discuss the signs, symptoms, diagnosis and treatment of 50 common cancers. Because of the language, he believes the information in his book will be much more accessible than that found online and strengthen his book’s odds of potentially saving lives. He also discusses psychological problems, sex and sexuality, cancer in children, pregnancy and other medical-related topics.
