The Miller Agency Announces Northern Georgia Charity Drive to Eliminate Heroin and Opioid Addictions in the Region
Marietta, GA (PRWEB) September 27, 2017 -- The Miller Agency , an Atlanta area firm that offers insurance preparation services to families and business owners throughout northern Georgia, is joining forces with the Davis Direction Foundation in a charity effort to assist community members struggling with opioid addiction.
Numbers from the National Survey on Drug Use and Health (NSDUH) show that heroin and opioid use has been expanding since 2007, and recent reports show that nearly a million Americans have used Heroin in the past year. Many of these users are between the ages of 18-25, and the Davis Direction Foundation is committed to reaching these young adults and ensuring that they and their families have access to anti-opioid assistance programs.
