Dumbbell2.com Launches Worldwide Reseller Programs For Dumbbell2™, World’s First Two-Handed Dumbbell
Atlanta, Ga. (PRWEB) June 25, 2014 -- RConcepts Inc., the inventor of the world’s first two-handed dumbbell, announced today that the company is offering two reseller programs for retailers to sell Dumbbell2 (DB2), the next-generation dumbbell. Dumbbell2.com is encouraging sporting goods and fitness retailers worldwide to take advantage of the new programs, designed to help retailers offer DB2 weights to their customers with little financial risk. More versatile and effective than the traditional dumbbell, DB2’s innovative design provides increased workout efficiency in an updated and streamlined shape.
Play It Again Sports® is a neighborhood sporting goods store offering new and quality used sports and fitness equipment. Two locations in Florida (Orange Park and Jacksonville) are taking advantage of Dumbbell2.com’s reseller program to offer new DB2s to customers. Reno Beach Surf Shop in St. Petersburg, Florida is also offering the Dumbbell2 product lines.
Dumbbell2.com’s new reseller programs allow sporting goods and fitness retailers worldwide to introduce their customers to the latest innovation in dumbbells – without a significant upfront cost. Retailers can choose between selling the DB2 weights wholesale or as a consignment model. Each program provides new DB2 weights to the retailer without a long term commitment. Jon Reno La Budde, owner of Reno Beach Surf Shop, became interested in DB2 after watching a trainer using the product during a session on the beach. “The product caught my attention immediately. It not only looked cool, I knew by watching the workout that it was something that could really benefit my customers,” explained La Budde. “As part of the surf shop, we provide fitness classes to people interested in building strength for water sports, such as surfing and paddle boarding. Along with selling the DB2 product lines, we will incorporate the DB2s into these workouts.”
How DB2 Works
DB2 is ideal for people of all ages and ability who want to achieve a higher level of fitness more quickly and efficiently using functional movements to strengthen and tone muscles. The innovative shape allows the body to exercise using natural movements, resulting in a person achieving positive results faster. Results can be seen in as little as 5 minutes per day, although most people prefer to use DB2 for 15-20 minutes, 3 to 5 times per week.
Individuals are also using the DB2 with one arm because the unbalanced weight (when gripped with a single hand) isolates specific muscles or parts of muscles, allowing for more effective muscle targeting. Hand positions can also be modified to achieve a variety of leverage points.
Proof DB2 Works
Electromyography (EMG) testing showed approximately 35-50% increased muscle recruitment with 50% less weight using the DB2 compared to a traditional dumbbell. EMG is a technique used for evaluating and recording the electrical activity produced by skeletal muscles.
According to Blake Wells, DB2 instructor and master personal trainer based in Jacksonville, Florida, he has seen extraordinary results using the product with his clients. DB2 workouts designed by Wells can be found on the company’s website at http://www.dumbbell2.com/interval-training-workouts/.
