Jacksonville Dumpster Rental Company Sunshine Recycling Inc. to Provide Hauling Services for New Senior Living Facility Under Construction in Jacksonville, Florida
Jacksonville, Florida (PRWEB) March 24, 2015 -- Sunshine Recycling Inc. of Jacksonville will be providing 30-yard roll off dumpsters and regular hauling services during the construction of a new low-income senior living facility in Jacksonville, Florida. The three story, 84,000 square foot housing unit is scheduled to begin construction in early April, 2015. One of two senior living facilities being built in the area by Vestcor, these apartments are intended to help seniors earning less than 60 percent of the annual median income. Amenities are to include a library, fitness center, garden, salon, theater and game rooms.
The project is being funded using proceeds from the Low Income Housing Tax Credit program and support from the Jacksonville Housing Finance Authority. The new housing facility will be available to seniors earning less than $30,000 a year, with a section reserved for seniors earning less than $17,000 annually. Many of these seniors were significantly impacted by hard economic situations in recent years. Developing these designated affordable senior communities provides secure and quality housing situations for those with less places to turn to. The Caroline Oaks community and their other project, Peyton Ridge, are Vestcor’s most recent affordable housing projects. Vestcor has developed more than 11,000 housing facilities, recently shifting focus to mainly senior affordable housing and student housing projects.
Throughout the duration of the Caroline Oaks housing facility construction, Sunshine Recycling Inc. of Jacksonville will be fulfilling all debris hauling needs. The general contractor for the development is Summit Contractors, known for their construction of student and senior housing projects, as well as commercial building development throughout the east coast. Sunshine and Summit Contractors have worked together in the past and on several ongoing projects. For the Caroline Oaks construction, Sunshine will be providing 30-yard roll off dumpsters for all demolition and construction debris. Typically, this includes refuse such as packaging materials, drywall, wood scraps and plastics. The land at the development’s location is currently being cleared, with construction ready to start at the beginning of April. The projected completion date is set in December, 2015.
