Jacksonville Waste Management Company Sunshine Recycling Providing Dumpsters and Hauling Services During Commissary Construction Project for Local Navy Base
Jacksonville, Florida (PRWEB) April 30, 2015 -- Jacksonville waste management company Sunshine Recycling is providing 20 and 30-yard roll off dumpsters for the construction and renovation of the commissary building currently underway at the Naval Air Station (NAS) base in Jacksonville, Florida. The 30 million dollar, 115,777 square-foot facility will sell groceries and other commodities to active and retired military personnel and their families stationed on or near the base. Hoar Construction is the general contractor, overseeing the commissary construction in addition to several expansion projects on the base. Groundbreaking for the project took place in February and includes renovation to the existing commissary, an 11,000 square-foot addition, a parking lot and exterior site improvements. The project is expected to be completed within 2015.
To fulfill the waste management needs of such a large-scale renovation and construction project like the NAS commissary, specialized dumpsters and frequent hauling are required. Sunshine Recycling of Jacksonville is supplying these dumpsters and hauling services to properly handle the debris disposal. The 30-yard dumpsters are the standard recommended size for commercial construction projects, capable of holding regular refuse such as drywall, wood trimmings and scraps, and packaging materials. For bulkier materials, such as large pieces of concrete or metal, Sunshine will provide 20-yard dumpsters; any excess concrete discarded during the project will be recycled.
“We’re happy to provide our hauling services to the Naval Air Station for this exciting project,” said Chuck Herb, owner of Sunshine Recycling. “Once completed, the new commissary will be an excellent resource for all the military and their family around Jacksonville.”
