DuPage County Family Law Attorney Named Illinois Leading Lawyer

DuPage County family law attorney William Scott obtained his J.D. from DePaul University College of Law and obtained his A.B. from Saint Louis University. Scott concentrates his family law practice in complex divorce, pre-marital agreements, pre and post judgment issues, custody, paternity, and litigation matters. He was an instrumental part of the drafting and passage of the Illinois legislation permitting the entry of Qualified Illinois Domestic Relations Orders resolving the division of Illinois state pension benefits between spouses.
Scott is an active member of the Illinois State Bar Association, where he currently serves on the Family Law Section Council, the DuPage County Bar Association, the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and the Academy’s National Board of Governors.
