James F. McCluskey Elected ISBA Third Vice President
Lisle, IL (PRWEB) May 07, 2015 -- Momkus McCluskey, LLC is proud to announce that Partner James. F. McCluskey has been elected Third Vice President of the Illinois State Bar Association. McCluskey will serve one year in each of the three vice presidential offices before he becomes president of the association in 2018.
McCluskey’s campaign was focused on supporting ISBA member benefit initiatives including:

McCluskey is a founding partner at Momkus McCluskey, LLC with offices in Lisle and Chicago, where he concentrates on commercial litigation. Throughout his 35-year legal career, he has tried more than 55 civil jury trials to verdict in state and federal courts throughout Illinois.
McCluskey has held several prominent leadership roles for the Illinois State Bar Association. He was recently appointed to the Illinois Supreme Court Committee on Professional Responsibility. He currently serves as a member on the Illinois State Bar Foundation, and is the acting Chair of the ISBA Task Force on the Effect of Law School Debt on the Profession. He is also a Chair of the Facilities and Technology Committee of the ISBA. He is a member of the ISBA Budget & Audit Committee and Investment Committee.
McCluskey also served as President, General Counsel and Assistant Treasurer of the DuPage County Bar Association.
McCluskey earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Elmhurst College in 1976, Juris Doctorate Degree from Northern Illinois University College of Law in 1979, and a Master of Laws in Taxation from The John Marshall Law School in 1988.
