The forum will be held on November 18, 2015 at 7:30 a.m. at Medinah Country Club in Medinah, Illinois. Rathje & Woodward, LLC Partner, Mark J. McAndrew, will present as a keynote speaker alongside John Cook of CBIZ, Inc. The keynote presentations will cover information on current business issues including: The Department of Labor’s proposed changes to the regulations governing the white collar exemptions and recordkeeping under the Fair Labor Standards Act, the National Labor Relations Act’s Expansion, The Affordable Care Act, and upcoming changes to patient care.
The forum will also discuss grant opportunities and special programs available to Illinois companies that export goods and services. Guest speakers of the forum include: DuPage County Board Chairman, Dan Cronin; Metro Chicago Exports Managing Director, Thomas J. Hulseman; and Margo Markopoulos from the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity. Choose DuPage encourages local business owners, decision makers, executives, and industry professionals to attend the forum.
