DuPont has been recognized by the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) as one of America's Top Corporations for Women's Business Enterprises (WBEs). This is the only national award honoring corporations for world-class supplier diversity programs that reduce barriers and drive growth for women-owned businesses.
The award, now in its 16th year, honors corporations that integrate policies and programs to enable growth and reduce barriers for women-owned businesses. DuPont is committed to increasing opportunities in domestic and international markets, fueling innovation and empowering communities through economic growth and job creation.
“Women-owned businesses have long been a key part of our supply chain, bringing significant and measurable value to DuPont,” said Shelley Stewart, Jr., chief procurement officer for DuPont. “These suppliers provide innovative, creative and unique offerings to our company, and ultimately our customers, every day. I’m proud that for the second year in a row, WBENC has chosen us to receive this prestigious award, recognizing our efforts to increase opportunities for WBEs and advance their growth through broad organizational engagement.”
