Mustafa Rehmanji, brew master and Master Brewers Association of America (MBAA) Award of Merit recipient, and Laurie Kronenberg, global marketing director, DuPont Tate & Lyle Bio Products, will present a comparison of traditional petroleum-based heat transfer glycols, used in process cooling applications, with a new bio-based heat transfer material, Susterra® propanediol. The comparison evaluates safety, stability, performance across a range of temperatures, pumping efficiency and a peer reviewed life cycle assessment.

“The beer industry certainly has a long, storied history, but the interwoven art and science of beer making continues to improve year after year,” Rehmanji said last year after he received the MBAA Merit Award. “Now, I am pleased to continue my journey helping the industry improve upon the craft through other new initiatives,” explained Rehmanji as he prepares for this year’s WBC meeting.
