A leading Mexico City-based department store has successfully launched its new e-commerce storefront with the help of the team at Professional Access. Built on a leading e-commerce platform, the new site utilizes retail industry best practices and best-of-breed technologies to deliver a seamless customer shopping experience.
The company, a leading department store retailer catering to mid- to high-income shoppers, first partnered with Professional Access over a year ago to migrate to a more advanced search technology. Based on the success of the original project, the company once again selected Professional Access as its implementation partner to migrate its existing online storefront to a new e-commerce platform. Deployment of the new experience management application has given business users greater control over site-wide content management and customization of category and subcategory pages.
To meet the growing demand for popular online payment options, the solution also includes technologies that support the use of local payment methods—a feature that immediately helped boost conversion rates and improve overall customer satisfaction.
