eXplorance Receives the 2014 Best Workplaces in Canada Award
Montreal (QC) (PRWEB) April 22, 2014 -- eXplorance, the leading provider of Learning Experience Management (LEM) solutions, announces today that it has been recognized as one of the Best Workplaces in Canada by the Great Place to Work® Institute of Canada. eXplorance ranks 39th among the Medium category (under 1,000 employees). This award attests to eXplorance’s success in engaging employees with a unique culture focused on improving through continuous learning.
The Great Place to Work Institute of Canada evaluated eXplorance based on a rigorous representation of the organization from an employee perspective and an overall portrait of the workplace culture. Two-thirds of the total score came from a survey completed by the employees, along with their open-ended comments about eXplorance. The remaining one-third of the score was determined through an in-depth review of eXplorance’s culture, including an evaluation of HR policies and procedures. Based on the data collected, the Institute evaluated the five trust-building dimensions of a Great Place to Work: credibility, respect, fairness, pride, and camaraderie. These dimensions were found to decrease the employee turnover ratio by up to 50% based on data from previous recipients of the Best Workplaces in Canada award.
“This award reinforces that we are investing in the right areas to build employee engagement,” says Zeljka Eyamba-Tsimat, eXplorance’s Human Resources manager. “At eXplorance, we believe that our employees are the key to our success, which is why we strive to empower them and provide them opportunities to grow.” The Great Place to Work Institute found that eXplorance supports the development of a positive working environment, with strong Trust Index© results for caring, camaraderie, management credibility, recognition and rewards, as well as committed employees.
eXplorance focuses on establishing a sustainable cycle of improvement through continuous informal and formal learning rather than traditional employee performance evaluations. This enables the company to align the employees’ goals with the company goals, enabling eXplorance to be more agile and more responsive to changes in the market. “By creating a culture of improvement, we are able to systematically provide high return on expectations (ROE) to our customers, partners, suppliers, contractors and most importantly our families and employees,” says Samer Saab, eXplorance’s CEO.
