J. Greg Smith Summary has over 25 years of experience in all facets of Program Controls and Financial Management, with an emphasis on government contracting and Earned Value Management (EVM).

He is the Engagement Director with Humphreys & Associates, specializing in assisting clients with their Project Management, Scheduling, and Earned Value Management Systems. Well experienced in developing implementation plans and designing systems that are compliant with the ANSI-748 EVMS Guidelines. Included in this is mentoring program management personnel in all facets of managing using EVM.

Greg is an experienced manager of Program Controls and Scheduling organizations for both Northrop Grumman and L-3 Communications; Civil Servant Business Manager for NASA on the Space Station and Space Shuttle Programs.

Taught over 100 courses on EVM and Scheduling, and regular speaker at conferences. Speaker and teacher for the College of Performance Management, the Project Management Institute, and EVM Europe at many events, including conferences in Tokyo, Japan; Dublin, Ireland; Ghent, Belgium; and Valencia, Spain.

Greg serves as Project Chair for the development of PMI's Practice Standard for Earned Value Management - Second Edition
