ICE Safety Solutions Awarded SCMSDC 2013 Supplier of the Year
Fremont, CA (PRWEB) September 05, 2013 -- ICE Safety Solutions is proud to announce that they were recognized by Southern California Minority Supplier Diversity (SCMSDC) as a 2013 Supplier of the Year. SCMSDC awards nominees for outstanding achievements and dedication in their contracts with corporate members. ICE Safety Solutions provides training for proper first aid techniques, CPR, disaster preparedness and more.
SCMSDC awards nominees in four categories based on gross annual sales. ICE Safety Solutions was a runner-up for Class II, which means their gross annual sales were between $1 and $10 million, in addition to their Certificate of Excellence.
"These minority entrepreneurs are among an elite group ranked by corporate partners as outstanding and worthy of being nominated to compete for a Supplier of the Year Award, while only one winner in four categories is selected, each nominee is a winner," said Virginia Gomez, SCMSDC president.
Pamela Isom, President/CEO of ICE Safety Solutions, was overjoyed to receive these awards. Toyota Motors, having nominated ICE Safety Solutions, joined Isom’s employees, peers and supporters in cheering Isom on. The recognition for Winners’ Circle Awards is humbling for the over 2,500 people ICE Safety Solutions certifies and trains annually in Southern California.
The 32 Supplier of the Year nominees represents nearly two percent of SCMSDC’s certified 1,700 minority businesses. SCMSDC welcomed more than 300 attendees to their Supplier of the Year Awards Luncheon. In 2010, ICE Safety Solutions was awarded as NMSDC Regional Supplier of the Year, Class II and in 2012, awarded as NCMSDC Supplier of the Year, Class II.
