“We are continually looking for ways to enhance our students’ experience and are hopeful that our partnership with eCampus will offer our students streamlined access to affordable textbook options.” - Ken Hall, Evaluation Team Chair, Goucher College

Goucher selected eCampus.com Virtual Bookstores to help students obtain course materials at a significantly reduced cost, while also providing a superior integrated ordering process. With eCampus.com’s Virtual Bookstore solution, Goucher students can save up to 70% off publisher list prices, aligning with Goucher’s principal objectives to help each student master significant areas of knowledge and skills through access to affordable course materials. Beyond cost savings, students can take advantage of every purchasing option, including new, used, rental, eTextbook, and an expansive network of third-party marketplace sellers. With the largest selection of rental inventory available, as well as comprehensive digital content options, the new eCampus.com partnership also promotes Goucher’s commitment to environmental sustainability, ensuring students have the option to choose rental and eBook over new textbooks whenever possible.

The eCampus.com platform will offer a seamless integration with Goucher’s Student Information System, creating a customized ordering process utilizing Single Sign-On (SSO). With SSO, the purchasing process is even more simplified as students can make purchases directly from their student portal. With this cohesive strategy, students will also enjoy the convenience of registration integration. When students register for courses, they will instantly see a personalized listing of required textbooks according to their schedule, along with the ability to purchase or rent the materials with the click of a button. Convenient ship-to-campus options will allow for easy delivery and pickup. Students will also have the flexibility of using financial aid for their course material purchases.

In addition to student benefits, faculty also benefit from the new partnership. A dedicated Management Team will extend additional adoption support, ensuring that all stakeholders are confident in utilizing their new virtual bookstore solution.

“We are continually looking for ways to enhance our students’ experience and are hopeful that our partnership with eCampus will offer our students streamlined access to affordable textbook options,” said Ken Hall, Chair of the evaluation team at Goucher College. “The modern platform offers seamless course integration and digital options that will better support our students.”

“eCampus.com is thrilled to bring our years of experience in the Virtual Bookstore model to Goucher College,” said Matt Montgomery, President and CEO of eCampus.com. “We look forward to providing a new standard of integrated ordering that offers flexible purchasing options combined with improved access to affordable course materials. Our focus has always been providing the most cost-effective and user-friendly experience for both students and faculty and we look forward to helping Goucher College achieve the same goal.”
