Education World’s Science and Technology Pinterest board has been listed by the Smithsonian Science Education Center as one of seven boards to follow for STEM resources.
STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) education is a national priority, aimed at making U.S. students more proficient in these key fields. Pinterest, a fast-growing social platform, has evolved as an excellent source of STEM content.
In the online article by the Smithsonian’s Ashley Deese, she notes Education World Pinterest boards cover many topics from bullying prevention to Common Core standards. The EW Science and Technology board “has a great mix of science and technology resources and is well worth following,” she said.
Education World provides K-12 lesson plans and resources free all the time, with new content added daily, as well as 40 boards on Pinterest. From professional development to a look at the lighter side of education, Education World keeps educators up to date.
