The Holmes-Drenckpohl Agency in Effingham, IL has announced the debut of a master charity program created especially to benefit their local community. Their goal is to work as agents of change in the community, by initiating campaigns which will assist a selected program, group, family or individual with fundraising and other support, thereby bringing greater awareness to important local causes. A new beneficiary will be nominated every 60 days by working closely with nonprofit organizations in the area.
To launch their Community Program, Brandy Drenckpohl, the agency’s principal, has chosen to introduce the Effingham County Humane Society. The campaign’s mission is to assist this worthy nonprofit organization in their mission to help relieve the suffering and inhumane treatment of animals. The Humane Society, founded in 1979, has worked tirelessly toward eradicating needless euthanasia for almost 40 years, and exists solely to care responsibly for homeless dogs and cats and find them loving homes. One of the very few no-kill shelters in the area, The Humane Society believes every pet deserves a loving family, and educating prospective pet owners is one of the keys to their success. Receiving no state or federal funds, they rely solely on the donations of caring individuals, companies and local groups. Donations literally mean survival for the thousands of animals in their care.
