SAVANNAH, Ga. (PRWEB) September 04, 2014
Savannah personal injury lawyers from The Eichholz Law Firm will participate in Second Ebenezer Baptist Church’s daily food initiative for the city’s homeless population on Thursday, September 4.
A group of staff members and the firm’s managing partner, David Eichholz, will visit Second Ebenezer Missionary Church to do their part to ease hunger among the homeless population of Savannah by providing warm, full-course meals to those in need.
The Chatham-Savannah Authority for the Homeless states that 762 children and youth, 1,305 women and 2,126 men are without shelter in the region. (1) The firm believes volunteering within the community is a worthwhile and important contribution to all of Savannah’s citizens, especially for those who suffer from hunger on a regular basis.
Second Ebenezer Missionary Church is located at 800 Colbert Street, Savannah. The church offers free meals to those in need Monday through Friday at 5:30 p.m., and The Eichholz Law Firm is honored to participate in Thursday’s upcoming initiative. The firm encourages others interested in volunteering for the city’s homeless to do so through the organization of their choice.
