RESTON, Va., June 6, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Electrosoft, a leading provider of diversified technology-based solutions and services to the federal government, is one of 22 awardees of the $100 million GSA Centers of Excellence Discovery Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA). Notably, Electrosoft is one of only four small businesses selected to assist agencies in discovering IT modernization issues in the information security focus area.
GSA made the announcement on June 4, 2019. In the press release, GSA Centers of Excellence Executive Director Bob De Luca indicated that the addition of 22 contractors will increase the flexibility and speed with which agencies can conduct all the discovery and assessment efforts required. Agencies will be assessing their IT environment across seven categories and developing recommendations for implementation.
In the press release De Luca said, "With just about a third of the agreements going to small businesses, we are proud of the cross-section of American industry and technological expertise represented. We selected companies who demonstrated the potential to discover issues related to current legacy systems and develop recommendations for modern-day technological solutions to the problems our citizens face when interacting with government services."
Sarbari Gupta, President and CEO of Electrosoft, said, "We are proud to be selected as an awardee under this BPA and prouder still to be one of the small businesses deemed as demonstrating 'a fundamental understanding of the challenges—and solutions—facing IT modernization efforts' in government. Since 2001, Electrosoft has established a reputation for excellence in information security, delivering comprehensive, high-quality solutions that enable our customers to achieve success in their mission. We look forward to assisting agencies in evaluating the information security issues they face on their path to IT modernization."
