CHICAGO (PRWEB) January 13, 2020
Elevate K-12, a Chicago-based live streaming instruction provider for K-12 schools and districts, partners with Otus, a Chicago-based education technology provider for K-12 school communities, to integrate benchmark assessments to their live streaming instruction classes that solve the teacher shortage problem across schools.
With this partnership, Elevate K-12 will use normed and standard aligned assessment questions to evaluate the progress of their students and better target instruction in the areas where students need it most.
With the use of the Otus assessment management suite, Elevate K-12 will be able to provide more robust information to their school partners regarding student performance.
“Choosing Otus as a partner will bring a dramatic shift in our ability to better differentiate and target instruction to students in under-served districts across the country,” said Kim Kross, Chief Operating Officer of Elevate K-12. “Otus, from the beginning and along every step of the way, has been an amazing partner; allowing us to create solutions that meet the needs of our programs, students and schools.”
“Every student is much more than a test score,” said Dr. Keith Westman, COO of Otus. “We are proud to support Elevate K-12’s innovative initiative to bring authentic and engaging assessments into their instructional model to help them best support each learner they serve.”
Elevate K-12 and Otus are committed to continuing to look for innovative ways to work together to scale and empower schools and students across the country through innovation and technology.
