CHICAGO (PRWEB) February 26, 2020
Elevate K-12, a leading provider of high quality live streaming instruction to K-12 schools announces the launch of its STEM and Career Tech live classes for the next academic year.
“At Elevate K-12, we are continuously pushing the boundaries to offer more classes to our schools. We have already built a groundbreaking live streaming technology platform and we are constantly looking for ways to offer more classes to our schools and students in this format” said Elevate K-12 CEO, Shaily Baranwal. “Watching a video is not teaching or instruction and our mission is to bring real teaching and real live high quality instruction back in the classroom. Our entry into Career Tech is our next step toward that mission!”
"States are continuously adopting K-12 Computer Science policies, and as a result, we have seen a significant increase in demand for such classes. We are excited to expand our offerings to include Career Tech and STEM classes, and Computer Science is our first step. We have many more new classes launching soon. We want to continue to deliver more and more value to the districts and students we serve" said Bob Tenzillo, SVP of Partnerships at Elevate K-12.
Elevate K-12’s Career Tech and STEM classes will be offered for grades 6 to 12 and will be a semester or a full year credit bearing class. The class will be taught to a large or small group of students. Students will be taught by a live instructor in real time and will have the opportunity to learn skills that will be useful in STEM related careers, such as coding, networking, and cyber security, just to name a few. Elevate K-12’s Career Tech live classes will be offered starting summer 2020 and academic year 2020-21.
