Queensland, Australia (PRWEB) August 16, 2013 -- “Dogs are not our whole life, but they make our lives whole,” said Roger Caras, a well-known wildlife photographer, writer and television personality. Knowing full well the truth and depths of Caras’ words, Elizabeth Jobson, author of “Introducing Bentley”—a children’s book about an adorable Cocker Spaniel and his canine capers—returns with the second installment in the series titled Bentley Goes to the Park.
Jobson’s books are inspired by three things: her interest in children, her own lovable dog, and her long-term idea to write children’s books that would bring her first two interests together. The product is a series of colorful children’s picture books, set in Tamborine Mountain, Queensland, Australia, which talks about day-to-day activities and topics that will interest children, centered on a man’s best friend which is a real life character. Yes, Bentley the Cocker Spaniel is Jobson’s real-life pet.
With its amusing tales, real-life character and actual photographs, Bentley Goes to the Park is a book that teaches children about the value of pets and of kindness. Written to make children “feel good and take away happy feelings,” the book captivates young readers because of the “cuteness of the subject” as Jobson would say. “I have shown the book to some local children and they loved it. Especially the 6 o’clock run,” she adds.
