Ellex reveal an exciting programme for this year’s ESCRS in London.
Haag-Streit UK (HS-UK), the leading manufacturer and distributor of gold-standard optometry and ophthalmic equipment, is pleased to announce Ellex’s programme at this year’s European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ESCRS) congress.
The ESCRS will be held at ExCel, London on the 13th – 17th September. Medical laser manufacturer, Ellex will be exhibiting on stand H11 and will be showcasing a large selection of its laser product portfolio including the; Ultra Q Reflex YAG, Tango SLT and YAG combined laser, and the Integre Pro photocoagulator. Delegates will get an opportunity to view the new and exciting 2RT non-thermal laser technology via a special kiosk on the stand.
The popular Eye Cubed ultrasound and new iTRACK 250 Microcatheter, which has be designed to perform Canaloplasty, will also be exhibited.
On Saturday 13th Ellex will be holding its ‘12th European Eye Cubed Ultrasound Course.’ The agenda includes a presentation by Dr H. Atta; ‘Diagnosing Vitreoretinal Pathologies with Posterior B-Scan’. Other presentations include; ‘The Full Scope of 40MHz UBM for Glaucoma Management’ by R. Waldron and ‘Canaloplasty: How and why it works, plus the role of 80MHz Ultrasound Imaging’ led by C. Peckar. These presentations will be followed by workshop sessions on 40MHz UBM and 10MHz Posterior B-Scan (presented by R. Waldron and H. Atta), which will provide an excellent opportunity for delegates to learn, discuss and gain hands-on experience.
On Sunday 14th September, Ellex will host an hour-long Eurotimes Symposium; ‘Laser Vitreolysis and Retinal Rejuvenation Therapy (2RT) for Early AMD and DME: Two Revolutions in Nanopulse Lasers’. This will be led by Professor M-J Tassignon, Professor W. Herriot and Professor Cees Van der Windt. Delegates will be given the opportunity to learn new techniques and treatments using Ellex’s Ultra Q Reflex laser and 2RT.
Finally, on the evening of Monday 15th September, Ellex will host a Vitreolysis Physician Forum Dinner, which will be presented by Dr Paul Singh.
