This award is a testament to our progress in leveraging next-generation technology from enChoice and IBM to create an efficient, productive organization that provides superior service to all our internal and external customers.

enChoice®, Inc. (http://www.enchoice.com/) announced today that Richard Daley, Director of Records & Information Management for Tejon Ranch Co., is the recipient of its first annual Innovation Award. The award recognizes an enChoice customer that has used enChoice enterprise content management (ECM) software solutions in innovative ways to achieve business benefits such as reduced costs and improved productivity. It was presented to Daley during the IBM Insight 2014 conference in Las Vegas.
At nearly 270,000 acres, Tejon Ranch is the largest contiguous expanse of private land in California and is engaged in a wide variety of businesses including commercial and residential real estate development, ranching, farming and mineral resources. Tejon implemented enChoice’s KwikWork user experience solution with IBM’s ECM platform including IBM® FileNet® Content Manager (P8) and IBM Case Manager to transform Tejon’s approach to document management into a highly efficient and productive system. The Ranch also utilizes enChoice’s CYA SmartRecovery™ solution to ensure critical information within the ECM system including contracts is protected from all forms of data loss and corruption.
Tejon Ranch now makes all information available via a centralized repository, which facilitates the decision-making process and makes finding information easy. In addition, key processes have been automated, resulting in employee productivity gains. From a technology perspective, Tejon is utilizing its systems much more efficiently than it did previously, which has reduced the need for additional staff even as the company’s business and information needs have grown.
"I’m honored to be chosen as the recipient of enChoice’s first Innovation Award. It’s a source of great pride both for me and my company," said Daley. "This award is a testament to our progress in leveraging next-generation technology from enChoice and IBM to create an efficient, productive organization that provides superior service to all our internal and external customers."
"Richard has been instrumental in Tejon using cutting edge technology that improves the way the Ranch conducts its day-to-day operations," said Tony White, CEO, enChoice. "We’re proud to call Tejon Ranch our customer and look forward to helping them further transform the way they do business with enChoice and IBM software and support services."
