And it certainly has. Since inception in 2008, the company has seen rapid year-over-year profit and account growth of over 100% and 800% respectively. “What’s truly a testament to our success is the fact that roughly 90% of our clients don’t pay us a dime for hosting or content management and yet we’ve remained highly profitable and continue to grow organically at a rapid pace,” says Levy.
One way the company continues to see success is through free-to-paid account transitions. The company typically sees between 100 and 200 new account additions daily. While only a small percentage convert to paying Enterprise Accounts, when they do, they’re typically very committed to the MediaSignage system. The company has also received significant interest to the new open source SignageStudio Lite, a simple-to-use digital signage CMS with drag-and-drop usability. As an open source solution, the SignageStudio Lite is meant to break down learning curve barriers so prevalent in today’s enterprise digital signage systems. It allows for content creation and deployment made for users with non-technical capabilities in mind. Users can add components to a sequence with simplicity and ease, eliminating the excuses for failing to install digital signage.
The SignageStudio Lite helps to compliment the growing mediaHYBRID, powered by Amazon Web Services which was designed to power networks with client player numbers greater than 1,000. “Our mediaHYBRID is like combining our cloud digital signage software with purchasing your own server,” says Levy. “It provides the privacy of a self-hosted network with the scalability of the AWS cloud.” The company’s flagship SignageStudio Pro covers the vast majority of the market, but the company has truly engineered a system with every potential user in mind with both the SignageStudio Lite and the mediaHYBRID.
