Enterprise Ireland Plants The Seeds of International Relationships at Microsoft’s Worldwide Partner Conference 2013
(PRWEB) July 25, 2013 -- Microsoft’s Worldwide Partner Conference (WPC) took place July 7-11 and welcomed over 16,000 technology leaders from 50 countries, including eight Irish technology companies sponsored by Enterprise Ireland.
Keith Byrne, Trade Development Executive at Enterprise Ireland states, “WPC is a perfect example of how big the Microsoft partner ecosystem really is. Thousands of partners gather every year to generate contacts and form relationships, and this year proved to be one of the most successful for the Irish companies in that respect.” He continues, “For the eight Irish technology companies who joined us, it’s promising to realize the true international potential of their products within that global Microsoft partner ecosystem.”
Sessions at WPC provided insight into Microsoft’s partner roadmap and company strategy highlighting the four ‘megatrends’, including the cloud, social, mobility and big data. Enterprise Ireland represents Irish companies who offer solutions with these megatrends in mind, especially the Cloud. CipherDocs, sam360, and AccountsIQ are all cloud-based solutions and embrace it as their core business offering.
Edward Grant of CipherDocs says, “Microsoft’s commitment to the Cloud solidifies our business model of securing and controlling documents for Microsoft Office 365. Knowing Microsoft recognizes this as a business need that isn’t going away makes it all the more possible for us to offer solutions that fit those exact needs for companies around the world.”
