Arlington, VA (PRWEB) March 24, 2014 -- International environmental, health, safety and sustainability consultancy ENVIRON has announced that Dr. Martha Moore and Dr. Janice Yager, two highly renowned and accomplished toxicologists, have joined the firm.
Dr. Moore and Dr. Yager have complementary expertise in environmental health sciences and toxicology, particularly genetic toxicology. They will work collaboratively with other leading scientists at ENVIRON to assess and manage risks that workers and the wider community face from exposure to chemicals and physical agents in a broad range of everyday and specialty applications. Their particular expertise will further enhance ENVIRON’s global reputation in product safety evaluation. Stephen Washburn, Chief Executive Officer, notes that, “Dr. Moore and Dr. Yager are important additions to ENVIRON’s Product Safety and Stewardship practice, which provides technical and strategic assistance to industry worldwide. Significant ongoing changes in the regulatory landscapes in Europe, Asia and the United States, alongside increasing pressure from stakeholders, make it increasingly necessary for companies to address questions about the human health and environmental risks that may be posed by products, their ingredients and impurities, effectively pushing product safety to the top of the boardroom agenda.”
Dr. Moore, a Senior Manager based at ENVIRON’s Little Rock, Arkansas office, has practiced toxicology for over 35 years.
