EO Orange County Accelerates Emerging Entrepreneurs
New Accelerator Program for Scaling Businesses
ORANGE COUNTY, Calif., Feb. 5, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- If you are an Orange Country-based entrepreneur who has grown their business beyond the startup phase, you might be wondering how to scale to the next level.
The Entrepreneurs Organization Orange County (EOOC) is here to assist and guide you as you reach for higher levels of success.
Founded in 1987, EO is a Global business network of 13,000+ leading entrepreneurs in 181 chapters and 57 countries. The Orange County chapter is a group of like-minded business owners and entrepreneurs who support each other towards greater levels of success.
A recent initiative called the Accelerator program is specifically designed to help aspiring entrepreneurs to grow to the next level.
In a recent interview, Skylar Lewis, a successful entrepreneur and member of the EO Orange County chapter explains more about the EO Accelerator program:
Tell us about the EOOC Accelerator program, how did it start?
The EO Orange County Accelerator was created to support smaller business in scaling their companies. It is much easier to grow a company when you're surrounded by other business owners who have the knowledge and experience you need.
What are the benefits of this program?
This program includes a mastermind type group which meets monthly to discuss the challenges we face as business owners. There are also regular social meetings to connect with other business owners. And probably the most valuable part of the program is the quarterly learning days where a trained facilitator comes and does training on growth strategies.
Who would gain the most benefit from this program?
Definitely people who want to grow their company. This is not for people who are happy with the status quo. A key part of growth is being around other like-minded people. So a person is interested in meeting and connecting with other business owners in their same revenue range.
Do you have any stories of those who went through the program?
We have many! A recent member named Amit Kothari graduated from the program about 2 years ago. He has an executive coaching business, which can be very challenging to scale. He used the tools he learned through the learning days and mastermind accountability groups to identify his target market, put marketing systems in place and then build processes to automate his business. He graduated to EO (which is available once you reach $1,000,000 in revenue). He has since tripled his business from what he learned in EO.
How do people apply for the program? What are the requirements?
To join the program you must have a minimum revenue of $250,000.

Where is the program headed in 2019?
The program is always adding new benefits to its members. It's 2019 it's launching a mentorship program. EO Accelerator members will have the opportunity to be mentored by a business from the larger EO chapter one-on-one. This program has been in the works for years, and we're excited about the potential value it can bring to new entrepreneurs wanting to scale their businesses.
