eOriginal, Inc., the experts in digital transactions, announced that it will serve as a Gold Sponsor of the eSignRecords2014 Conference taking place November 12 and 13 in New York City.

Known as the world’s premier event on issues surrounding electronic records and signatures, the conference serves as a forum for professionals to exchange expertise with colleagues from around the world and build connections. Hosted annually by the Electronic Signature and Records Association (ESRA), this year’s conference will be held at Convene – Financial District, a state-of-the-art conference center in New York City.

“As one of the pioneers in eSignatures, electronic documents and digital transactions, it is only fitting that eOriginal has chosen to be a lead sponsor of this year’s event,” said Jeff Knott, Chairman of the eSignRecords2014 Conference and Vice Chairman of ESRA. “Led by its CEO and President Stephen Bisbee, eOriginal continues its strong tradition of serving as a lead voice in this community and encouraging the exchange of knowledge that has helped spur its growth.”

Held over a day and a half, the eSignRecords2014 Conference sessions will provide insight into emerging technologies, consumer engagement, current industry practices, legal and regulatory matters, along with current government trends. This year, ESRA has added industry spotlight sessions to attract executives from the biopharmaceutical, tax preparation/accounting and online lending industries.

The conference begins on a Wednesday afternoon and concludes following a full day on Thursday. An optional, pre-conference “boot camp” workshop will also be held on Wednesday morning, offering an in-depth overview of e-signed records.

“As our world continues to become more and more digital, events like this serve as a focal point in moving the industry and the technology forward and ensuring that we meet the highest standards of security and compliance,” Bisbee said. “We are proud to serve as sponsors of eSignRecords2014 and look forward an information-rich event.”

Bisbee will join fellow industry pioneers to serve on the conference’s keynote panel, “UETA at 15: A Look Back, A View Forward Uniform Electronic Transaction Act.”

Along with Amelia Boss, Trustee Professor Of Law, Drexel University; Patricia Fry, Commissioner, Uniform Law Conference; Jeffrey Ritter, External Lecturer, University Of Oxford; And David Whitaker, Counsel, BuckleySandler LLP, they will discuss the impact of UETA 15 years after it was enforced. The panelists will share first-hand experiences and insights into UETA’s origination, and discuss how electronic signatures have transformed and progressed into the industry standard.

Bisbee is a former chair for ESRA, while Elizabeth McClure, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for eOriginal, currently serves as the association’s Secretary to the Board of Directors.
