UpCurve Cloud, a Texas-based CRM consulting firm and SugarCRM Elite partner, today announced it has released an integration between Slack and Sugar that is designed for Sugar users who wish to improve user productivity by integrating their communication platform with their customer relationship management system (CRM).
SugarCRM enables businesses to create extraordinary customer relationships with the most innovative, flexible and affordable CRM solution on the market. UpCurve Cloud’s Sugar integration for Slack utilizes commands, report notifications, and bot questions to pull relevant customer information from Sugar.
With the integration, Slack users can use slash commands to request information about a specific Lead, Contact, Account, Opportunity or Case record in Sugar. After referencing a specific record in Slack, the integration will return details about the correlating record from Sugar.
The integration also displays weekly and monthly reports on Sugar Leads and Opportunities in Slack for users to view on a recurring basis. By integrating Sugar, users can see meaningful sales and marketing insights directly in Slack.
Additionally, the integration utilizes a character known as SugarBot to communicate with users and answer their questions by pulling data from Sugar. Users can ask SugarBot pre-defined questions like “What was the lead conversion rate last month?”.
