Hampshire County, MA (PRWEB) May 20, 2014
Hampshire County and Berkshire North County have made electronic recording available through Simplifile, the nation’s largest e-recording service provider, enabling customers to record documents more quickly and efficiently.
“We’re excited to expand our e-recording service to more customers in the state of Massachusetts with the addition of these two recording jurisdictions,” said Paul Clifford, president of Simplifile. “By offering e-recording, both Berkshire and Hampshire counties will be able to cut down on unnecessary paper recording expenses and help their recording customers save time and money.”
With e-recording available, customers such as title companies, banks, lien filers, and attorneys will be able to go to electronically submit documents for recording using Simplifile’s web-based service.
High-speed Internet access, a computer, and a scanner are the minimum requirements for customers to be able to e-record with Simplifile.
With the addition of Hampshire and Berkshire North counties, Massachusetts now has 15 e-recording jurisdictions that have adopted Simplifile’s service. Nationwide, Simplifile’s network serves more than 1,075 e-recording counties and recording jurisdictions.
