Simplifile Announces E-recording in Saline County, Ark.
Saline County, Ark. (PRWEB) November 04, 2015 -- Saline County is now accepting electronic documents such as deeds, liens, and mortgages, and more, for recording through Simplifile, the nation’s largest e-recording service, providing document submitters with a faster, more cost-effective recording method online.
“I wanted to give the citizens the opportunity to save money and time,” said Saline County Circuit Clerk Myka Sample. “Every day we receive several FedEx and UPS packages, and walk-in customers; e-recording gives them the ability to send the documents straight from their office or business.”
Using Simplifile’s secure, web-based service, customers ranging from title companies to banks, attorneys, and lien filers, have the ability to scan or upload and submit documents directly to the clerk’s office where they are reviewed, stamped, recorded, and returned electronically in minutes.
“My goal is to have at least 50 percent of our customers e-recording by the first year,” Sample said.
Recording fees and payments can also be processed securely through Simplifile, helping to reduce payment errors and eliminate check-writing expenses.
“Providing customers with the option to e-record helps streamline the recording process, and helps save the county time and money on paper and mailing expenses,” said Paul Clifford, president of Simplifile. “E-recording is the most cost-effective, secure, convenient way to have documents recorded.”
Saline County is the 18th Arkansas county to make Simplifile’s e-recording service available to customers, joining more than 1,325 counties nationwide that also e-record with Simplifile.
High-speed Internet access, a PC, and a scanner are the minimum requirements for customers to begin e-recording with Simplifile.
