Warrick County Recorder Begins E-recording with Simplifile
WARRICK COUNTY, Ind. (PRWEB) April 30, 2014 -- E-recording in Warrick County, Ind., is now available through Simplifile, the nation’s largest e-recording service provider, to recording customers, enabling faster, more efficient document recording.
“I wanted to add Simplifile to offer clients such as title companies, attorneys, and banks more choices and options. I am a firm believer that providing choices are part of outstanding customer service,” said Warrick County Recorder Yvonne Hughes. “We accept the same types of documents for e-recording as we would if they were mailed in or ‘walked in,’ as long as they meet the state recording requirements.”
With the availability of e-recording, the Warrick County recorder’s office can receive electronic documents such as deeds and mortgages from submitters who prefer to send their documents via the Internet.
By e-recording customers can avoid mailing, postage, and courier fees, as well as time spent traveling to and from the county or waiting on documents to be recorded.
“I look forward to expanding the e-recordings here in Warrick County,” Hughes said. “Thus far, Simplifile has submitted documents that meet all the requirements, and we have received the ACH deposits in under 24 hours.”
Warrick County is Indiana’s 38th e-recording county, joining more than 1,060 total e-recording jurisdictions that have implemented Simplifile’s service nationwide.
“We are excited for customers to have the option to e-record in Warrick County and to help provide a faster, more cost-effective and paperless way to record documents,” said President of Simplifile Paul Clifford.
